Not sure where to stay on your next visit to Red River Gorge, Kentucky? We’ve got the answer for you at the Black Bear Lodge! Just couple minutes from Natural Bridge State Park and all the areas activities and you don’t need to spend lots of dollars on a cabin. Cabins are fantastic but for that last minute trip or if you plan on being gone most of the time a nice, clean motel room may be the answer. Our motel rooms are cutely decorated with mountain theme décor and all come with private bath with shower/tub, satellite tv, mini fridge, coffee pot. Some rooms have 2 full size beds and some are just single queen. Let us know which you prefer. All our guests get a free cup of coffee at our full service coffee shop located right next door in the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop & Deli. We serve breakfast sandwiches, pannini’s,cappuccino’s, espresso, ice cream, milkshake’s and more. For lunch visit our deli and pick a wrap or freshly prepared sandwich or pannini. Perfect for taking along on that Gorge hike. No need to worry about food on your trip to the Gorge. We’ve got all your needs- groceries, convenience items, ATM, ice, and firewood. You’ll be checking in at our Daniel Boone Coffee Shop & Deli to pick up your key so very convenient to get your necessities here.

Cancellations must be made 3 days prior to arrival for refund. Holiday & event weekend rentals may not be refundable unless able to re-rent. Contact us if unsure of event weekend.

For groups needing more sleeping capacity consider our 2 cabins located in same vicinity as Black Bear Lodge, within easy walking distance. Our Bear Cub cabin and Grizzly cabins sleep up to 10 more people. Visit them on this site under “small cabins”. Grizzly cabin has a pool table and hot tub for nice, leisure activities for the group.
