Enjoy being in the heart of Natural Bridge State Park! Perfect small Cabin for a couple who want all of the amenities of a large cabin! Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Hot Tub, Gas Grill

Butterfly Suite of Quiet Waters is the ideal get away for a couple looking to enjoy all that Red River Gorge has to offer. Located behind Natural State Park campground you can walk to the 26 miles of state park trails including the iconic Trail to Natural Bridge. This cabin comes with a king sized bed, a living area with DISH TV, Wi-Fi, a gas fireplace and cozy kitchen complete with range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, double sink, and refrigerator. Cabin has bed linens and one towel & face cloth per person. Outside is a deck with hot tub, gas grill & patio furniture. Relax in the hot tub on the private covered deck. These amenities make your wilderness stay a comfortable and relaxing trip.

Butterfly Suite is part of Quiet Waters, a collection of five cabins connected by decks and wooden walkways and is not a secluded cabin. It is centrally located next to Natural Bridge State Park. You can bring friends to stay in any of the other cabins to make it a nice reunion trip.

Special Note: Near the property, you will find a cemetery that is part of the Natural Bridge State Park. You are welcome to visit it, but we ask that you be respectful of the property.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc

Deposit Policy

A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.

This was an excellent choice for our trip to Kentucky for our anniversary. Check in was super easy to get our code. Cabin did smell a bit musty but it didn’t bother my allergies. The hot tub was clean and well kept. The listing pictures showed a different couch than the one in the cabin. The one in the pictures looks like it would have been way more comfortable. The one in the cabin wasn’t comfortable. Bed was super comfortable! Overall this wasnt a 5 star location but it was a good place to stay for our needs

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It’s off the beaten path and this particular cabin seems to have the most privacy. The hot tub was fantastic! Crystal clear and clean. It’s important to note you need to come prepared. This includes salt, pepper, and a sufficient amount of towels. It’s very bare in every way. The bed and couch is uncomfortable but if you’re spending all day doing activities it’s not too bad. Just would not want to be stuck inside the whole time in a cabin minimally stocked with creature comforts. We will be back in the area this time next year for our annual retreat and we will likely look elsewhere. That said, we still had a lovely time and the cabin is a sweet little spot.

We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend! I loved the seclusion of the cabin and beautiful hillside, woodsy view outside the front door. We also were very close to the Natural Bridge State Park, Nada Tunnel, Miguel’s Pizza, and the cutest coffee/breakfast shop; could not have been a more perfect spot to stay! We greatly appreciated the board game available for our use, as we were kicking ourselves when we forgot to bring any. This location is super easy to find and an affordable stay if you are looking for a clean, cozy place to rest.

Secluded location to you and the other 3-4 cabins that are not separated but attached. Very clean, needs things like paper towels, knife, condiments etc. Lots of steps. Nicely located in the woods if you’re comfortable with being 50 ft from a grave yard. This should have been a disclaimer. You are not visible from the street which is great! Ample parking and comfortable jacuzzi on deck. Was able to check in a tad bit early which was helpful. Bed is comfy. Good place to lay your head and escape.
