Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park are just a few minutes drive down the parkway or take a scenic back road and go right into the Gorge. Charming, log cabin ranch, secuded with great covered deck.
Twin Oaks sits in a forested paradise.
Perfectly secluded, near the town of Stanton so options for restaurants or shopping. Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park are just a few minute drive down the parkway or take a scenic back road and go right into the Gorge.
Home has a large front porch with great views of the mountain valley. The master bedroom has king bed & private bath. The second BR has a queen bed, third BR has a Queen bed. The house has all modern appliances, flat-screen tv above the fireplace with High Def, Wi-Fi internet, DVD player & a wood burning fireplace. Outside is a New(Mar-2022) hot tub, gas grill, fire pit and corn hole game. Bring your own bean bags.
As this house sits high on a hill, it has a long gravel driveway and the gravel is new and still loose. *We recommend all wheel drive, four wheel drive, unless you are used to driving steep gravel roads. Maintain your speed when driving up the hill and you shouldn't have any problems, it is when you stop or slow down that small cars are having trouble.
This cabin is located about a 20 minute drive from the Natural Bridge State Park and Red River Gorge.
Highly recommend 4WD or AWD for this cabin as the hill to the cabin is steep and graveled.

Comfortable stay, very quiet and private.
Great weekend loved the place. Six people more than enough room. Hot tub HOT! Road sketchy but fun just drive up it. Quiet area close to Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge. Miguel’s if your hungry.
That hill is no joke! I made it in my Corolla but I’m pretty experienced driving on gravel roads. Loved the cabin, the hot tub, and the master bedroom was great. Thanks Nancy!
The cabin was great and we had a wonderful time! The host was quick at answering questions and very nice!
This cabin was very nice. High ceilings, rooms were decent size, beds were very comfortable. Location is great (roads there are country roads so not always easy to navigate, but that’s the usual for places like this) hot tub was my favorite part. We were snowed in but made for a great getaway.
Some notes that we found out the hard way: if you have 6 people, bring towels for baths and hot tub. There were not enough towels without washing them for 6 people even just for overnight. We did not have any paper towels when we arrived, and the 1-ply provided toilet paper will maybe last one or two nights for 6 people. If you have a need for the wifi, the 2G does not work, the 5G barely reaches the living room and common areas (for those with kids or trying to work)
DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS - make sure to strictly follow the written instructions or you will arrive at a private (very confrontational) neighbors house. It was not a warm welcome there. The check out list was very unclear, leave linens and towels in a stack on the bed. (Had to ask - so here is the answer)
This was long winded but I was surprised by many of these things during our stay. Would rather new travelers be aware beforehand. This is not like most Airbnb stays, it is almost more like a hotel rental.
For the value, I would recommend. We enjoyed our stay.
Really great cabin! Just beware that there is a rough hill you have to go up, but everything else is amazing!!
The cabin is pretty much exactly as described. The hot tub was not as inviting as we’d hoped, but overall the cabin was nice. It’s spacious and the porch is really great, with a a bean bag toss game and lots of seating. The location is pretty remote and quiet as described in the listing.
Awesome cabin and a very secluded location. Not much cell service so you have to take advantage of the Wi-Fi. Not easy getting up the hill with a 2 wheel drive.
Everything was superbly relaxing.
This home is beautiful and it's surroundings are even better! It was very quiet and secluded! I did mention to Nancy that she has cockroaches starting to infest her home near the back door and the surrounding wall, so hopefully that's handled before her next guest! If it's not, make sure you bring repellent and check your luggage upon leaving!
Some very easily fixed things would have made this a 5 star visit for me. Starting with the good, the host was very responsive to my messages. I had a dog sitter cancel day of the trip, and they let me take the dog, so that was nice. The space itself is really nice, we loved the wrap around porch and the hot tub. The town of Stanton is a 15 minute drive away, so it has a great mix of convenience and seclusion. Natural Bridge State Park nearby was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. Moving onto the reasons I gave the location 3 stars. The place was pretty dirty. There are light fixtures that are filled with dead insects. I think I was probably the first person in a year to bring wipes to pick up all the dust. The host also has photos of beds with different sheets so that it looks like there are more than 3 beds. The place says 4 beds, and we were rudely surprised to find out last minute that there were only 3 and no pull out sofa. I think the host is going to get this fixed. If the dust and dirt gets mopped up in addition to correctly listing the place as 3 beds, this will be a 5 star spot.
Cabin description states there are 3 bedrooms and 4 beds (sleeper sofa in the living room). We arrived to the cabin with 8 guests and realized there was no sleeper sofa. Couches were uncomfortable for 2 of our guests to sleep on for 3 nights.
Cabin was not very clean. Dirt all over the floor upon arrival. Grill also very dirty.
I recommend bringing your own paper plates and cups unless you want to wash your dishes by hand for the entire stay.
Impossible for any car other than 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway.
Very peaceful and secluded. Loved it for a large group!
The cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was great for hanging out with family who traveled with us. The outside space was great to have covered so we could enjoy the spring storm while staying dry on the rocking chairs on the deck.
