Second time staying in their cabins, and absolutely love it! The cabins are clean, and furnished with taste, everything you could need while staying is stocked, and the staff is impeccable with their attention to details and care for their guests. Returning customer We have rented with scenic cabin rentals several times. They are always clean and have amazing locations. Also, the Daniel Boone store has booze now where you pick up the key to go to your cabin. It is great. We love the red

My husband, our dog and I stayed at Stone Hill Cabin this past weekend. Let me tell you, it was so perfect! The cabin was even better in person! As soon as we walked in we could see how clean it was and that it’s well taken care of. We are already planning our next visit. I think we found another home away from home! - 2/16/2022

The staff was very friendly when we were checking in. They had given us written directions to the cabin since reception can be spotty. The main office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee shop. We stayed at the bear paw cabin. It was very clean, cute, and modern. The doors took some time to get used to because of how they lock. There is only enough room to park one car and to turn around you will have to do a 5 point turn. Over all, the cabin was very nice. Heads up: if you stay during the fall time and you hear a loud bang, it is probably just an acorn falling on the roof. - 2/16/2022

Lakeview Retreat Cabin We stayed the first weekend in January. We stayed with another family so 10 of us all together. We had a great time. The company can be a little hard to reach, however once we were able to speak to them they were wonderful to work with. The gas fireplace in this cabin is outstanding. Heated the living room quickly and the staircase. It also tends to heat the room with two twins and a queen bed. Our kids took over this room and loved it. It also has a balcony that looks out over the lake-which was beautiful. If the hot tub is more than a year old I would be shocked. Very clean and the area around it well maintained. It is so quiet out there ! We decided when we rent again that we would bring a telescope. When the clouds moved the stars were amazing! It snowed the day before our arrival and rained all day the next day, so we didn't get to use the firepit, but it looked very nice. Important things to know about this cabin: 1) The basement in winter is cold ( this is where the pool table and the extra fold out bed are) 2) There are no window coverings in the basement. We were not comfortable having the kids sleep down there . 3) The bedrooms do not have Tv's - this was not an issue for us but... We stayed the first weekend in January. Our van wouldn't start and the cell reception outside of the home is terrible-thus making calling road side assistance nearly impossible. The rental company was very helpful during this stressful situation.
6) put your phone on the cabin wi-fi. Password is listed inside the cabin and the reception much improved, but only inside as expected.
7) A handbook about the cabin and the area is in the living room. It states that they do have mice issues from time to time. While we didn't see any mice, we did see evidence in the cabinets. It would be nice if they left some type of cleaner that would be safe for the cabinetry there, in the cabin. We washed every dish prior to using. More - 1/18/2022

Wonderful, peaceful Clean and peaceful. My boys playing in the river and chilling in the hammock brought them back together. The added bonus of NO cell service made it extra enjoyable. I would recommend the Restful River to anyone looking to have a vacation of rest and decompression. - 6/07/2023

Great stay in Lazy Days My friend and I stayed at the Lazy Days Cabin for the month of April. We found the cabin through Scenic Cabin Rentals located in Slade, KY.
The cabin was fantastic!!! It is centrally located inside of Cliffview Resort. The resort features it's own hiking trails, mountain fishing ponds, and a very scenic overlook. We would walk around the resort after dinner almost every night. The stars are beautiful there.
The cabin was perfect for us and our 2 children. The children stayed in the open loft upstairs and we each had our own bedrooms with a queen size bed. This made monitoring them very easy. We enjoyed the old airplane theme that was throughout the cabin. The children liked learning about the old planes. There is a nice hot tub, firepit, and grill off of the large deck in the back. We spent a lot of time playing games outside and had several fires. They will deliver wood to you! The cabin was very tidy and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils we needed to cook and bake. It feels like a lot of love and attention went into this cabin and made us feel like we were at home.
We look forward to coming every year! If you are visiting the area, we highly recommend this cabin-just not in April when we want to stay! - 7/01/2020

The cabin worked great for large family that was in The Gorge for my son's wedding. Plenty of space and everything worked. Saw deer every morning. And the hot tub with a drink was the way to wind down after the wedding. - 11/16/2022

Our family of 4 along with 3 other families stayed in the S’more fun in the gorge cabin in December. There were 7 adults and 9 young kids. Each couple had their own bedroom with attached private bath. This was a real luxury. Our group has stayed at several cabins together over the years and we’ve never all had our own bathrooms. There was another room with 2 sets of bunk beds and space for an air mattress where 8 of the kids slept. There is plenty of open space so we never felt cramped. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a large kitchen table that will fit 10 people at a time. The cabin was very clean and the staff was really friendly. We absolutely loved everything about Back to Nature. We stayed the weekend of March 11-13 and received 5 1/2 inches of snow friday night. We enjoyed hiking in the winter wonderland and coming back to the cabin hot tub and fireplace. Thanks for an unforgettable girls weekend. We are coming back to stay again in Nov. - 4/16/2022

My family and I gather for an early Christmas each year. This year we chose to do so at the Whippoorwill cabin. It could not have been better. We were fortunate to have great weather in December but the cabin itself was fantastic. Great setup for our family. New couches and fridge. Nothing seemed to be dated. The pool table was great for us. We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond and the fire pit for some singalongs. The roads in are a little rough, I would have felt uneasy in the snow but the cabin and area were perfect once we were there. Thanks to sceniccabins for a wonderful experience and a shoutout to the ladies in the office who were very nice and helpful. Good guest service. - 12/21/2020

We recently stayed at the Woodpointe cabin just outside Natural Bridge and had a wonderful time. Everything about the cabin was exactly as described and the process went smooth from reservation to check-out.
