Beautiful scenery, top of the line cabin My husband and I stayed in the S'more Fun in the Gorge Cabin with 3 other couples for a small group trip from our church. This cabin did not disappoint. There were private bedrooms for each of us all with a private bathroom. All of the bedrooms were nice so no "fighting" over who got the better room. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking supplies we needed (pots/pans, plates/cups, blender). There was a large table so all 8 of us could sit around the table. We had some time to play the guitar and sing together and we were all able to sit on the deck together with several outdoor chairs available. Only one bedroom did not have its own deck but it was next to the front door with a lovely bench to sit on and enjoy nature. We saw deer walking around each morning. We wanted a place where we could all hang out together and that was possible on the upper and lower decks, in the living room and around the table as well as sitting on the sun porch. The hot tub was nice although the water was not as hot as we would have liked. There was plenty of parking. The directions to the cabin are detailed but lead you right here. Just read them carefully. Wifi worked. The cabin was clean and the staff was very kind for check-in and check-out. Our group wanted something that was not too far from Lexington and this place delivered. We spent time hiking in the Gorge and kayaked in the Gorge Underground. We would love to come back again next year! - 10/01/2020

We only use Scenic Cabin Rentals when we visit the Gorge. We have stayed in several now; the cabins are always clean and well stocked and there are options for every group size. Management is easy to get ahold of if we have any questions and they make the process of renting easy and painless. We love our stays so much, we keep coming back. Wonderful, peaceful Clean and peaceful. My boys playing in the river and chilling in the hammock brought them back together. The added bonus of NO cell service made it extra enjoyable. I would recommend the Restful River to anyone looking to have a vacation of rest and decompression. - 6/01/2023

This is a review of The Grizzly by Eric Drake. We had an awesome time. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was secluded yet close enough to everything we wanted. Privacy and social if you wanted. The hot tub was brand new and very nice. It was clean and we'll taken care of. We definitely recommend it and will be back later this year - 6/16/2022

We absolutely loved everything about Back to Nature. We stayed the weekend of March 11-13 and received 5 1/2 inches of snow friday night. We enjoyed hiking in the winter wonderland and coming back to the cabin hot tub and fireplace. Thanks for an unforgettable girls weekend. We are coming back to stay again in Nov. - 4/16/2022

The staff was very friendly when we were checking in. They had given us written directions to the cabin since reception can be spotty. The main office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee shop. We stayed at the bear paw cabin. It was very clean, cute, and modern. The doors took some time to get used to because of how they lock. There is only enough room to park one car and to turn around you will have to do a 5 point turn. Over all, the cabin was very nice. Heads up: if you stay during the fall time and you hear a loud bang, it is probably just an acorn falling on the roof. - 2/16/2022

We stayed in the Camelot cabin and had such a wonderful time! It was tucked away in the forest and was absolutely gorgeous. We even saw a deer and a raccoon! It was perfectly placed near the attractions around red river gorge too. Had some home items around so no need to pack too much of those necessities (kitchen utensils, toilet paper, etc.) Also had a steamy nice hot tub and a grill. Would totally recommend! My husband, our dog and I stayed at Stone Hill Cabin this past weekend. Let me tell you, it was so perfect! The cabin was even better in person! Heaven's Gait This was our first time using Scenic Cabins and we will use them again. We very much enjoyed our secluded stay. If you want rest and relaxation I highly recommend this cabin. Beds aren't that comfy but nothing you can't get past. We are very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I can definitely say this place was clean and comfortable. Smelled clean when we walked in. We had a wonderful stay! As a caregiver I needed a break so my best friend and I ran away for 3 nights to refresh. The cabin was all we had hoped for, perfect for us with two separate bedrooms. It was clean and had everything we needed, and we LOVED sitting on the porch. It was a great location for the hikes we wanted and places to eat.
