Beautiful scenery, top of the line cabin My husband and I stayed in the S'more Fun in the Gorge Cabin with 3 other couples for a small group trip from our church. This cabin did not disappoint. There were private bedrooms for each of us all with a private bathroom. All of the bedrooms were nice so no "fighting" over who got the better room. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking supplies we needed (pots/pans, plates/cups, blender). There was a large table so all 8 of us could sit around the table. We had some time to play the guitar and sing together and we were all able to sit on the deck together with several outdoor chairs available. Only one bedroom did not have its own deck but it was next to the front door with a lovely bench to sit on and enjoy nature. We saw deer walking around each morning. We wanted a place where we could all hang out together and that was possible on the upper and lower decks, in the living room and around the table as well as sitting on the sun porch. The hot tub was nice although the water was not as hot as we would have liked. There was plenty of parking. The directions to the cabin are detailed but lead you right here. Just read them carefully. Wifi worked. The cabin was clean and the staff was very kind for check-in and check-out. Our group wanted something that was not too far from Lexington and this place delivered. We spent time hiking in the Gorge and kayaked in the Gorge Underground. We would love to come back again next year! - 10/16/2020

As an employee, I can attest to the dedication and commitment of my employers to always go above and beyond to ensure that each guest is well satisfied with their stay and to work with any guest to resolve issues that may arise. During the recent storms, many trees were down on rental properties and my employers worked non-stop to resolve the situation. Absolutely loved our cabin! Road to the cabin was well maintained but would be difficult nonetheless during inclement weather. The view was amazing and the cabin itself was very clean. Everyone we dealt with at Scenic Cabin Rentals was really pleasant as well. Great experience overall that we hope to replicate again some time!! - 3/16/2022

They have an brand new mini golf course that is exceptional to say the least. There are 18 holes of mini golf set in a rustic Kentucky setting, a definite must do when at Natural Bridge. They also offer a nice gift shop with lots of locally made products. They also offer other hidden gems of the area. The place to go have fun with the whole family, even the thrill seekers!! Scenic Cabin Rentals saved our vacation! Thank you Scenic Cabin Rentals for saving our family vacation after VACASA.COM LEFT US HOMELESS (horrible company with absolutely no compassion)! We called Scenic Cabin Rentals after driving 9 hours to find out our rental thru Vacasa was not available and even though SCR had nothing immediately available, they bent over backwards to get a cabin ready for us so we didn't have to drive all the way back home! Thank you so much SCR, your compassion for us in this crazy world we live in was so TRULY APPRECIATED!!! And the cabin was lovely to boot! ❤ - 1/01/2021

Heaven's Gait This was our first time using Scenic Cabins and we will use them again. We very much enjoyed our secluded stay. If you want rest and relaxation I highly recommend this cabin. Beds aren't that comfy but nothing you can't get past. We are very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I can definitely say this place was clean and comfortable. Smelled clean when we walked in. After reading some of the reviews I was nervous about our reservation to the Black Bear Cabin. However, after the super easy check in, we were given directions to our Cabin, which was about 15 minutes away, we were pleasantly surprised! The drive up to the Cabin was a little rough if you don't have 4 wheel drive but we made it ok with my Chevy Traverse (4 wheel drive is a MUST in the Winter) and walking in we were so Happy with our choice. There was NOTHING we would have changed about it. The Cabin was extremely clean and well kept, we saw no traces of any mice as listed in the other cabin reviews or even spider webs. Yes we actually expected to see those, lets be real you are in the middle of a Forest, but NOTHING! The downstairs consisted of the living room with a flat screen TV, DVD Player, books and games. We brought our Firestick and connected to the provided WIFI, the Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, dishes, pots pans, silverware, even spices and coffee filters. A Full bathroom downstairs with the most amazing shower ever, bring your own towels and wash cloths, and one of our most favorite parts was the personal sauna, we spent a lot of time in this!! The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a half bath! The ladder to the upstairs is not made for the mobility impaired as it is just like a normal ladder, however that is very clearly listed in the description and the beds were amazing. The hot tub was perfect after long days in the car or hiking, it was very well kept and clean, also for those like me, YES the lights did work We definitely give this cabin 10 out of 10 stars and are already planning a return stay with them next year for Vacation! - 2/16/2022

We stayed in Black Bear Cabin over the weekend. Based on some of the Airbnb reviews we were a little hesitant, but it ended up being a great cabin and an all around great stay! Check in and out were smooth and easy! I really felt like the listing photos undersold the cabin a bit, as it was definitely larger in person than the photos showed. The tv had also been updated since the listing photos which was a nice surprise. The cabin was clean, with lots of toilet paper and towels and clean linens. The hot tub and sauna were both wonderful and clean as well! Overall I felt like the cabin was a great value for the price. The communication between staff was very helpful when we were worried about potentially checking in late, and everything went really smoothly. Obviously it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel, so not everything is brand spanking new, but everything was clean and functional with several extra items stocked in case you had forgotten your own. We will definitely be back soon! - 12/16/2022

Wonderful, peaceful Clean and peaceful. My boys playing in the river and chilling in the hammock brought them back together. The added bonus of NO cell service made it extra enjoyable. I would recommend the Restful River to anyone looking to have a vacation of rest and decompression. - 6/01/2023

Above the Pines cabin is fabulous! We recently had a weekend stay with another couple at Above the Pines and loved it. This is a new cabin (2021) and is such a great place to stay. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen and living room were very spacious and so pretty with vaulted ceilings and beams, new furniture and nicely decorated. There is a huge deck outside with a hot tub and lovely views of the area. There is a queen bed in 1 of the bedrooms and 2 queen beds in the other one and the beds were comfortable. The staff is great and the office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop where you can pick up needed supplies and they also serve food, coffee and drinks there. If you are planning a trip to the gorge, I think you would be very happy with your stay at Above the Pines. - 8/01/2022
