What a lovely, magical place for a wedding. I even enjoyed the drive out there! I stayed with my sister and her H - we had a great time. Nice cabin. If we'd had more time - i.e. no wedding to attend - we'd have spent more time strolling about, maybe doing the zip line or hiking the ridge. As it was, it was still good. And the wedding was beautiful, the reception truly wonderful. I danced and danced...what fun! I'll be back as soon as I can manage. Great place to unwind - - 5/31/2015

What an awesome stay in Bear Den cabin! Cabin was super clean and had everything need to cook a meal in the kitchen. Beds were comfy and the hot tub on the deck was wonderful. I would recommend Scenic Cabin Rentals to my friends and family. We truly enjoyed our visit to Kentucky and our stay in The Bear Den cabin. - 5/21/2023

Second time staying in their cabins, and absolutely love it! The cabins are clean, and furnished with taste, everything you could need while staying is stocked, and the staff is impeccable with their attention to details and care for their guests. Scenic Cabin Rentals saved our vacation! Thank you Scenic Cabin Rentals for saving our family vacation after VACASA.COM LEFT US HOMELESS (horrible company with absolutely no compassion)! We called Scenic Cabin Rentals after driving 9 hours to find out our rental thru Vacasa was not available and even though SCR had nothing immediately available, they bent over backwards to get a cabin ready for us so we didn't have to drive all the way back home! Thank you so much SCR, your compassion for us in this crazy world we live in was so TRULY APPRECIATED!!! And the cabin was lovely to boot! ❤ - 1/01/2021

Above the Pines cabin is fabulous! We recently had a weekend stay with another couple at Above the Pines and loved it. This is a new cabin (2021) and is such a great place to stay. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen and living room were very spacious and so pretty with vaulted ceilings and beams, new furniture and nicely decorated. There is a huge deck outside with a hot tub and lovely views of the area. There is a queen bed in 1 of the bedrooms and 2 queen beds in the other one and the beds were comfortable.
The staff is great and the office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop where you can pick up needed supplies and they also serve food, coffee and drinks there. If you are planning a trip to the gorge, I think you would be very happy with your stay at Above the Pines. - 7/01/2022

The Enchanted Forest cabin was a perfect place to stay for a climbing trip. Its proximity to Miguel's and Muir Valley was particularly nice. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and came with plenty of dishes and cookware to allow for homemade meals. I would definitely stay here again. - 2/16/2022

My family and I gather for an early Christmas each year. This year we chose to do so at the Whippoorwill cabin. It could not have been better. We were fortunate to have great weather in December but the cabin itself was fantastic. Great setup for our family. New couches and fridge. Nothing seemed to be dated. The pool table was great for us. We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond and the fire pit for some singalongs. The roads in are a little rough, I would have felt uneasy in the snow but the cabin and area were perfect once we were there. Thanks to sceniccabins for a wonderful experience and a shoutout to the ladies in the office who were very nice and helpful. Good guest service. - 2/16/2021

We had my daughters 18th birthday at Black Bear Cabin. It was an amazing experience! The cabin was spotless, great view, loved the hot tub & sauna, perfect size for 10+ people (even though it was 2 bedrooms). Spacious living area, open kitchen and wrap around deck. I've stayed at five different cabins managed by Scenic Cabin Rentals over the past few years and have always found them to be clean and in good condition. The office staff has always been responsive if I've needed anything; such as gas for a grill or battery for a smoke alarm. They have even been very accommodating whenever I've rented a cabin at the last minute and they had to rearrange their cleaning services in order to get the cabin ready for my arrival. I'm pretty particular with where I stay and for now I have no reason to use another cabin rental company unless they don't have any properties available for the dates I need. - 5/16/2022
