Heaven's Gait This was our first time using Scenic Cabins and we will use them again. We very much enjoyed our secluded stay. If you want rest and relaxation I highly recommend this cabin. Beds aren't that comfy but nothing you can't get past. We are very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I can definitely say this place was clean and comfortable. Smelled clean when we walked in. We decided this will be our go to cabin from now on. - 8/26/2020

We stayed in Black Bear Cabin over the weekend. Based on some of the Airbnb reviews we were a little hesitant, but it ended up being a great cabin and an all around great stay! Check in and out were smooth and easy! I really felt like the listing photos undersold the cabin a bit, as it was definitely larger in person than the photos showed. The tv had also been updated since the listing photos which was a nice surprise. The cabin was clean, with lots of toilet paper and towels and clean linens. The hot tub and sauna were both wonderful and clean as well! Overall I felt like the cabin was a great value for the price. The communication between staff was very helpful when we were worried about potentially checking in late, and everything went really smoothly. Obviously it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel, so not everything is brand spanking new, but everything was clean and functional with several extra items stocked in case you had forgotten your own. The Enchanted Forest cabin was a perfect place to stay for a climbing trip. Its proximity to Miguel's and Muir Valley was particularly nice. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and came with plenty of dishes and cookware to allow for homemade meals. I would definitely stay here again. - 2/16/2022

We had my daughters 18th birthday at Black Bear Cabin. It was an amazing experience! The cabin was spotless, great view, loved the hot tub & sauna, perfect size for 10+ people (even though it was 2 bedrooms). Spacious living area, open kitchen and wrap around deck. Not to mention wonderful customer service. We will definitely stay again. - 10/16/2023

Our family of 4 along with 3 other families stayed in the S’more fun in the gorge cabin in December. There were 7 adults and 9 young kids. Each couple had their own bedroom with attached private bath. This was a real luxury. Our group has stayed at several cabins together over the years and we’ve never all had our own bathrooms. There was another room with 2 sets of bunk beds and space for an air mattress where 8 of the kids slept. There is plenty of open space so we never felt cramped. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a large kitchen table that will fit 10 people at a time. The cabin was very clean and the staff was really friendly. Scenic Cabin Rentals saved our vacation! Thank you Scenic Cabin Rentals for saving our family vacation after VACASA.COM LEFT US HOMELESS (horrible company with absolutely no compassion)! We called Scenic Cabin Rentals after driving 9 hours to find out our rental thru Vacasa was not available and even though SCR had nothing immediately available, they bent over backwards to get a cabin ready for us so we didn't have to drive all the way back home! Thank you so much SCR, your compassion for us in this crazy world we live in was so TRULY APPRECIATED!!! And the cabin was lovely to boot! - 1/05/2021

My family and I gather for an early Christmas each year. This year we chose to do so at the Whippoorwill cabin. It could not have been better. We were fortunate to have great weather in December but the cabin itself was fantastic. Great setup for our family. New couches and fridge. Nothing seemed to be dated. The pool table was great for us. We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond and the fire pit for some singalongs. The roads in are a little rough, I would have felt uneasy in the snow but the cabin and area were perfect once we were there. Thanks to sceniccabins for a wonderful experience and a shoutout to the ladies in the office who were very nice and helpful. Good guest service. - 2/16/2021

Above the Pines cabin is fabulous! We recently had a weekend stay with another couple at Above the Pines and loved it. This is a new cabin (2021) and is such a great place to stay. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen and living room were very spacious and so pretty with vaulted ceilings and beams, new furniture and nicely decorated. There is a huge deck outside with a hot tub and lovely views of the area. There is a queen bed in 1 of the bedrooms and 2 queen beds in the other one and the beds were comfortable.
The staff is great and the office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee Shop where you can pick up needed supplies and they also serve food, coffee and drinks there. If you are planning a trip to the gorge, I think you would be very happy with your stay at Above the Pines. More - 8/03/2022

Beautiful scenery, top of the line cabin My husband and I stayed in the S'more Fun in the Gorge Cabin with 3 other couples for a small group trip from our church. This cabin did not disappoint. There were private bedrooms for each of us all with a private bathroom. All of the bedrooms were nice so no "fighting" over who got the better room. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cooking supplies we needed (pots/pans, plates/cups, blender). There was a large table so all 8 of us could sit around the table. We had some time to play the guitar and sing together and we were all able to sit on the deck together with several outdoor chairs available. Only one bedroom did not have its own deck but it was next to the front door with a lovely bench to sit on and enjoy nature. We saw deer walking around each morning. We wanted a place where we could all hang out together and that was possible on the upper and lower decks, in the living room and around the table as well as sitting on the sun porch. The hot tub was nice although the water was not as hot as we would have liked. There was plenty of parking. The directions to the cabin are detailed but lead you right here. Just read them carefully. Wifi worked. The cabin was clean and the staff was very kind for check-in and check-out. Our group wanted something that was not too far from Lexington and this place delivered. We spent time hiking in the Gorge and kayaked in the Gorge Underground. We would love to come back again next year! - 10/16/2020
