What a lovely, magical place for a wedding. I even enjoyed the drive out there! I stayed with my sister and her H - we had a great time. Nice cabin. If we'd had more time - i.e. no wedding to attend - we'd have spent more time strolling about, maybe doing the zip line or hiking the ridge. As it was, it was still good. And the wedding was beautiful, the reception truly wonderful. I danced and danced...what fun! I'll be back as soon as I can manage. Great place to unwind - - 5/31/2015

Highly recommend staying with Scenic Cabin Rentals in the beautiful Red River Gorge area of eastern KY. Everything from reservation to check-out was a top notch experience staying at the Woodpointe Cabin. Will definitely visit again in the future. Great job by all!!! - 1/30/2023

The staff was very friendly when we were checking in. They had given us written directions to the cabin since reception can be spotty. The main office is located in the Daniel Boone Coffee shop. We stayed at the bear paw cabin. It was very clean, cute, and modern. The doors took some time to get used to because of how they lock. There is only enough room to park one car and to turn around you will have to do a 5 point turn. Over all, the cabin was very nice. Heads up: if you stay during the fall time and you hear a loud bang, it is probably just an acorn falling on the roof. - 2/16/2022

After reading some of the reviews I was nervous about our reservation to the Black Bear Cabin. However, after the super easy check in, we were given directions to our Cabin, which was about 15 minutes away, we were pleasantly surprised! The drive up to the Cabin was a little rough if you don't have 4 wheel drive but we made it ok with my Chevy Traverse (4 wheel drive is a MUST in the Winter) and walking in we were so Happy with our choice. There was NOTHING we would have changed about it. The Cabin was extremely clean and well kept, we saw no traces of any mice as listed in the other cabin reviews or even spider webs. Yes we actually expected to see those, lets be real you are in the middle of a Forest, but NOTHING! The downstairs consisted of the living room with a flat screen TV, DVD Player, books and games. We brought our Firestick and connected to the provided WIFI, the Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, dishes, pots pans, silverware, even spices and coffee filters. A Full bathroom downstairs with the most amazing shower ever, bring your own towels and wash cloths, and one of our most favorite parts was the personal sauna, we spent a lot of time in this!! The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a half bath! The ladder to the upstairs is not made for the mobility impaired as it is just like a normal ladder, however that is very clearly listed in the description and the beds were amazing. The hot tub was perfect after long days in the car or hiking, it was very well kept and clean, also for those like me, YES the lights did work We definitely give this cabin 10 out of 10 stars and are already planning a return stay with them next year for Vacation! - 2/16/2022

Absolutely loved our cabin! Road to the cabin was well maintained but would be difficult nonetheless during inclement weather. The view was amazing and the cabin itself was very clean. Returning customer We have rented with scenic cabin rentals several times. They are always clean and have amazing locations. Also, the Daniel Boone store has booze now where you pick up the key to go to your cabin. It is great. We love the red We will continue to rent with them - 3/21/2024

Wonderful, peaceful Clean and peaceful. My boys playing in the river and chilling in the hammock brought them back together. The added bonus of NO cell service made it extra enjoyable. I would recommend the Restful River to anyone looking to have a vacation of rest and decompression. - 6/07/2023

We absolutely loved everything about Back to Nature. We stayed the weekend of March 11-13 and received 5 1/2 inches of snow friday night. We enjoyed hiking in the winter wonderland and coming back to the cabin hot tub and fireplace. Thanks for an unforgettable girls weekend. We are coming back to stay again in Nov. - 4/16/2022

We stayed in the Camelot cabin and had such a wonderful time! It was tucked away in the forest and was absolutely gorgeous. We even saw a deer and a raccoon! It was perfectly placed near the attractions around red river gorge too. Had some home items around so no need to pack too much of those necessities (kitchen utensils, toilet paper, etc.) Also had a steamy nice hot tub and a grill. Would totally recommend! Scenic Cabin Rentals saved our vacation! Thank you Scenic Cabin Rentals for saving our family vacation after VACASA.COM LEFT US HOMELESS (horrible company with absolutely no compassion)! We called Scenic Cabin Rentals after driving 9 hours to find out our rental thru Vacasa was not available and even though SCR had nothing immediately available, they bent over backwards to get a cabin ready for us so we didn't have to drive all the way back home! Thank you so much SCR, your compassion for us in this crazy world we live in was so TRULY APPRECIATED!!! And the cabin was lovely to boot! ❤ - 1/01/2021
