My family and I gather for an early Christmas each year. This year we chose to do so at the Whippoorwill cabin. It could not have been better. We were fortunate to have great weather in December but the cabin itself was fantastic. Great setup for our family. New couches and fridge. Nothing seemed to be dated. The pool table was great for us. We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the pond and the fire pit for some singalongs. The roads in are a little rough, I would have felt uneasy in the snow but the cabin and area were perfect once we were there. Thanks to sceniccabins for a wonderful experience and a shoutout to the ladies in the office who were very nice and helpful. Good guest service. - 12/21/2020

This is a review of The Grizzly by Eric Drake. We had an awesome time. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was secluded yet close enough to everything we wanted. Privacy and social if you wanted. The hot tub was brand new and very nice. It was clean and we'll taken care of. Great stay in Lazy Days My friend and I stayed at the Lazy Days Cabin for the month of April. We found the cabin through Scenic Cabin Rentals located in Slade, KY.
The cabin was fantastic!!! It is centrally located inside of Cliffview Resort. The resort features it's own hiking trails, mountain fishing ponds, and a very scenic overlook. We would walk around the resort after dinner almost every night. The stars are beautiful there.
The cabin was perfect for us and our 2 children. The children stayed in the open loft upstairs and we each had our own bedrooms with a queen size bed. This made monitoring them very easy. We enjoyed the old airplane theme that was throughout the cabin. The children liked learning about the old planes. There is a nice hot tub, firepit, and grill off of the large deck in the back. We spent a lot of time playing games outside and had several fires. They will deliver wood to you! The cabin was very tidy and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils we needed to cook and bake. It feels like a lot of love and attention went into this cabin and made us feel like we were at home.
We look forward to coming every year! If you are visiting the area, we highly recommend this cabin-just not in April when we want to stay! - 7/01/2020

We stayed in Black Bear Cabin over the weekend. Based on some of the Airbnb reviews we were a little hesitant, but it ended up being a great cabin and an all around great stay! Check in and out were smooth and easy! I really felt like the listing photos undersold the cabin a bit, as it was definitely larger in person than the photos showed. The tv had also been updated since the listing photos which was a nice surprise. The cabin was clean, with lots of toilet paper and towels and clean linens. The hot tub and sauna were both wonderful and clean as well! Overall I felt like the cabin was a great value for the price. The communication between staff was very helpful when we were worried about potentially checking in late, and everything went really smoothly. Obviously it’s a cabin and not a 5 star hotel, so not everything is brand spanking new, but everything was clean and functional with several extra items stocked in case you had forgotten your own. Returning customer We have rented with scenic cabin rentals several times. They are always clean and have amazing locations. Also, the Daniel Boone store has booze now where you pick up the key to go to your cabin. It is great. We love the red We will continue to rent with them - 3/21/2024

They have an brand new mini golf course that is exceptional to say the least. There are 18 holes of mini golf set in a rustic Kentucky setting, a definite must do when at Natural Bridge. They also offer a nice gift shop with lots of locally made products. They also offer other hidden gems of the area. The place to go have fun with the whole family, even the thrill seekers!! We only use Scenic Cabin Rentals when we visit the Gorge. We have stayed in several now; the cabins are always clean and well stocked and there are options for every group size. Management is easy to get ahold of if we have any questions and they make the process of renting easy and painless. We love our stays so much, we keep coming back. We stayed in the Camelot cabin and had such a wonderful time! It was tucked away in the forest and was absolutely gorgeous. We even saw a deer and a raccoon! It was perfectly placed near the attractions around red river gorge too. Had some home items around so no need to pack too much of those necessities (kitchen utensils, toilet paper, etc.) Also had a steamy nice hot tub and a grill. Would totally recommend! We had my daughters 18th birthday at Black Bear Cabin. It was an amazing experience! The cabin was spotless, great view, loved the hot tub & sauna, perfect size for 10+ people (even though it was 2 bedrooms). Spacious living area, open kitchen and wrap around deck.
