This beautiful vacation Cabin Gated Deerwater Lake Gated Community boasts its own private fishing pond . Perfect for the avid fisherman and small groups who want to get away and enjoy the scenic setting of woods, water, and wildlife.
Bake's Burrow is a Cozy 3-story, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin that sleeps up to 6. Access is easy for 2-wheel drive vehicles on paved surfaces to a flat gravel road and graveled driveway.
The main floor Master BR has a queen bed, closet and dresser. Upstairs is a private bedroom which has a full bed and 2 twin beds.
The Cabin's main floor living space is centered on the large grand room featuring large picture frame windows that stretch floor to ceiling letting in lots of natural light. The windows showcase the beauty of the private fishing pond and Deerwater Lake. The Kitchen features an electric oven/range, refrigerator with automatic ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and all of the kitchenware you need for a weekend getaway or an extended stay. The living room has two leather sofas to relax while watching your favorite program on the 55'' flat screen Smart TV with DVD player and collection of DVD's to choose from. There is also a bluetooth sound bar with plenty of power to fill the house with music from your wireless device. Bake's Burrow also features fiber optic Wi-Fi. The main floor has a full bath with shower and linen closet.
The basement has a 2nd lounge room with a foosball table, a 43'' flat screen smart TV and sofa. There is also a large half bathroom with stackable washer and dryer.
Outside is a spacious wrap around deck with gas grill, picnic tables and plenty of lounge chairs with plush cushions for enjoying the view of the private pond & the crystal clear 5 acre Deerwater lake! Down the hill is a firepit to enjoy toasting s'mores in the crackling fire under the night sky.
Feel free to hike around the lake or fish for bass, catfish, and bluegill! It is a beautiful spot in the winter as the lake remains a clear blue-green color year round.
This cabin is located near other Scenic Cabin Rentals Cabins including: Forestdale Cabin, Wuthering Heights, Fourest Adventure, and Kentucky Straight Wilderness.
This cabin is Pet Friendly for well trained pets with payment of pet fee. Pets must be leashed when outdoors.

Deerwater Lake is a highly sought after community as it has a total of 13 cabins and is fully built out so will never be overcrowded. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing or bobbing on any kind of floatie you want to bring. Most cabins have private docks, but there is a dedicated public Dock for all guests of Deerwater Lake to Enjoy! Nearby activities are Climbing areas: Muir Valley, Beer Trailer Crag, Roadside and The Zoo, Lady Slipper, Emerald City, Global Village, Miller Fork, PMRP "The southern Region". Trailered Off-roaders are close enough to ride-in ride-out to Hollerwood off-road park and the Daniel Boone By-way off-road trail. Bake's Burrow is withing walking distance to The Red River Gorge Zipline!

Policies
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc
Deposit Policy
A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.
