Stayed for a couples’ weekend. Loved the house and fire pit area. Close enough to all the trailheads. The house was clean and well kept.

We loved our stay here, it is beautiful and everything we love. We will def recommend and hope to come back! No seasoning (salt/pepper) or paper towels/napkins. I understand supplying for a week, but for people who are only staying a short time may want to bring (we have always been supplied starter stuff for both). Location and cleanliness is exactly as described. Great communication with Nancy as well!

Amazing host! So helpful with my million questions. The driveway is no joke, we did get stuck. We ran into an issue with there being no tow trucks in the area but then they kindly sent their maintenance man who got us out. The cabin was gorgeous with an amazing view. We will be back

Beautiful, clean updated cabin. Perfect for our family of 4. Had everything there we needed. Close to great hiking spots. We loved spending New Years there. The road back to the place is narrow and gravel with a very steep driveway. Four wheel drive is a must. Lots of rain or snow makes getting to cabin very tricky.

Such an amazing place. It is beautiful and so close to all of the activities the area has to offer. When you think of a mountain get-a-way this is exactly what you think of. We loved sitting on the porch and spent most of our time there.

To get to the house is no joke though. It is gravel and extremely hard to get up without 4 wheel drive. The gravel makes it hard for your tires to grip and almost impossible to get up. We ended up driving backwards up the mountain and that worked for us. Many people in other cabins left their cars at the bottom of the drive. Its pretty intense. Your read Nancy's notes but take her advice seriously on the 4 wheel drive!

Great view! Comfortable beds and my kids had a great time making smores at the fire pit. Very steep driveway. Couldn't imagine getting up without AWD/4WD.

We enjoyed our family stay here over the 4th of July. We came to hike and explore trails in RRG and found this cabin to be what we were looking for. It’s a beautiful spot, comfortable stay, and convenient location. As all of the other reviews state, the driveway is no joke. 4x4 HIGHLY recommended to get up the gravel. Our all-wheel drive suv almost didn’t make it up the hill but we finally got there after the 5th approach. Cabin is really comfortable with a beautiful view, great for relaxing. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch each morning, enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and found the kitchen to be well equipped for our cooking needs. Really enjoyed our time here and definitely recommend!

Great place. Close to lots of eco-tourist spots. Kids loved it. Parents loved it. Very homey and cozy place to get away for a few days! When they say heavens gate, it’s for a reason, it’s up some hill and you’ll need a good vehicle to make it up there.

***Keep some extra water as back up...Water pressure went away the last night and had no water, but they came and fixed it first thing in the morning***
