We had a lovely stay at Lazy Days! Everything was as listed and shown in the photos. Cabin was very easy to find, simple to access, and had pretty surroundings. Everything you need was at the cabin. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. It rained almost our entire stay so we didn’t get to try out the fire pit area, but it looked cute! A nice touch is the gas fireplace - perfect for warming up the cabin on a chilly evening. Location was secluded and peaceful, yet not too far away from all the sights at the Gorge. A bonus is that the road is paved all the way to the front door. I’d definitely recommend staying at Lazy Days if you’re looking for both peace and proximity to the Gorge! We’ll certainly stay again when in the area.

overall it was a great place. the kitchen was well furnished. the hot tub was clean and worked well. it was a little loud downstairs when people were walking upstairs, but that's a relatively minor complaint. if youre there to climb in the red like we were, its very centrally located for all the major sport climbing areas, not far from miguels, and only a few minutes from the red river rockhouse, which was a pleasant surprise. would not hesitate to stay here again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We have so many people from all over coming to RRG to climb and we are glad that we can share that with you! Come back anytime to visit.

Cabin is in reasonable distance of everything. Layout could be better. To get to hottub everyone had to go theough master bedroom to get to back deck or walk around house outside. We didnt have towels the first day had to go buy some but was reimbursed some for the inconvienance. Overall all had a good time. All that was needed was a little more attention to detail. Cabin was good enough for two couples and 4 children.

Thank you for your feedback. We have notified Housekeeping and have took additional steps to ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

Good place for a short stay, conveniently located near hiking trails and has a nice backyard and deck. It is a little tricky to find out where the cabin is based on the directions given to you at the check in office. Only issues we had was that the beds were not very comfortable and it was very humid in the cabin.

Response From: Nancy Hamann

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry that you had trouble finding the cabin. No one has ever reported and issue with the step by step directions, but we will look at those to see if any clarification is needed. Thank you for letting us know about the beds, we will check to see if they need replaced. With it being July in KY, it's humid everywhere. Even with a great working AC you'll feel the humidity.

Working directly with Scenic Cabins was so much better than going through Airbnb when I needed a change to a smaller cabin

This cabin was the perfect place for our climbing trip. Lots of room for guests, updated bathrooms, all necessary amenities, close to all the crags we were interested in, and at a very reasonable price. Check-in would have been nicer if we didn't have to go to a secondary location before accessing the cabin, but the instructions were clear and we didn't have any issues with the after hours check-in procedures. The check out procedures were simple and left us plenty of time to spend our last day at the red.

Thank you for the feedback! We hope that you come back and stay with us again!

We have stayed at 2 of Nancy’s locations and I must say we have had great experiences with both. Our kids all live coming with us and we even got to bring the dog this last time. Not having to find someone to sit with our dog not only saved me money but also helped him be included. Which means a lot to our family. There are tons of things to do in the area if your outdoors people. If your not outdoors people it’s a great place to just sit and relax away from your everyday living. If your city folks (like we once were) and just need to get away from the noise then this Is definitely your area!! Thank you Nancy we can’t wait to come back this summer!!

Lovely cabin with a great hot tub. one of the best cabins we have stayed at on our hiking trips.

This was a solid little spot in the red. Close to a lot of good climbing / hiking spots. The fireplace was a great bonus.

It’s definitely a little tight in the living spaces but well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed.

There’s a lot of traffic on the road the cabin is on but it’s almost unnoticeable in the back yard.

Our only major concern was that the water was off for over 24 hours due to a major leak in the area. I understand this isn’t at the fault of the cabin company but I wish communication would have been better regarding the situation and water would have been provided to wash dishes, help flush out toilets, drink, etc. as we had to go out and buy multiple jugs of water to get by.

Couldn't have found a more idyllic spot-- loved the hot tub, coffee maker, and proximity to all the climbing crags. Would 100% stay here again!

A great location close to many trails, breweries, zip lining, coffee shops, restaurants, and the natural bridge. Clean and spacious cabin perfect for 8 people. The backyard is private and secluded with a nice fire pit, chairs, deck, and hottub.
We planned on grilling and went to the store on the way, but unfortunately there was no propane for the grill.
We were also expected to clean dishes, countertops, and microwave upon check out, but we were not provided any cleaning supplies and very little dish soap.
I overall would recommend this cabin, but expect to have to buy things normally supplied by air bnb hosts.

Great and convenient place to stay, cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Hot tub was warm and we had absolutely no issues (read the small print about towels not being included with the rental, you have to request them from the main office). We would definatelly stay here again.

Cabin layout is okay- wish there was a larger bed as my 2 small children(1 and 3 yrs)were too small for the twin beds in the loft so they squeezed in the full size bed with my husband and myself.
Deck by hot tub gets very slick so be careful when trying to put cover over hot tub or you’ll slip and fall.
Otherwise beautiful and as described.

The cabin was cozy and great for our 2 little families. Make sure to read her note about where to check in because it's about 13 minutes away from the cabin. I forgot to look back at the message with the very clear instructions with the address being differentto get the keys so we ended up driving around until I called the office. Other than that, the supplies in the kitchen were great. Make sure to bring foil and laundry detergent if you think you'll need them. There isn't a dishwasher, and make sure to bring a sponge if needed.

The backyard is private and setup well. We had a nice time relaxing at the cabin and hiking in the area.

When you think of scenic you would think of something more the woods and other cabins around, but honestly the view while your driving is the most scenic view. You have your own personal hot tub and privacy. It was a nice cozy stay. I would come back.

Cabin is adorable. The layout is unique. Access to the door going to the deck and hot tub is through the master suite which was ok but definitely did not create a private environment with ongoing traffic coming in and out. But, the location is great! We did not have a clean cabin upon arrival, however, which is why we will not return Lazy Days in the future.

Lazy Days cabin was such a great, relaxing space! There is a cabin directly across from the front, but once you go out back you'll feel like you're the only people in the area. The private trails in the resort area are great if you prefer to get away from the hustle and bustle of the gorge trails. The Suzanna's Arch trail was a beautiful hike, but definitely not for beginners. The hot tub was excellent after a long day of hiking, and our two teenagers loved the privacy of the loft. Nancy is an excellent host who worked with us when bad weather forced us to change our plans. We had no problems during our stay but feel confident that she would have responded immediately if anything had arisen. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

This cabin is in a great location. Easy to get to all the surrounding towns. Lots of close by adventures like the Red River Gorge Zipline, Whisper Valley Trails horseback, Thrillsville kayak tour and all the hiking! Cute cabin with a great private back yard.

The cabin is comfortable, cozy and clean. It is a great place to cook as the kitchen is fully stocked. The cabin is pretty close to the road, but the hot tub feels very private and faces the wooded area behind the cabin. It was so relaxing and clean. The gas fireplace was also lovely. We did the Suzanna's Arch hike which was lush and beautiful (moderate and a little muddy). My only issue is that you pick up the keys in a separate office and the staff were not following covid protocols. They weren't wearing masks, nor did they offer to put them on when I arrived. It was a quick interaction, but still uncomfortable as we are trying to be safe. The cabin is close to some beautiful hikes and is easily accessible. I would definitely recommend it.

great place to stay, it tucked back in the woods with several other spaced out cabins. cool place to walk around in the snow. Hot tub was roomy for 5 people. really like the style inside + the gas fireplace was a nice touch as well. Definitely a place for the under packer
