Modern cottage near Red River Gorge, Kentucky
Charming, modern, 2-BR, 1-BA cottage located in the heart of the Red River Gorge. Near the entrance to Rock Bridge & Creation Falls. Has living room, kitchen, and a sun room that goes out to a secluded back yard with fire pit area, grill and benches. Cottage is immaculate. One bedroom has a queen bed, second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both on main floor. Has central heat & Air, city water, regular TV with antenna and DVD player.
Perfect location for hikers & small families. Cell phone service is available here but NO Wi-Fi. However, Wi-fi is available at the Sky Bridge Station restaurant very close by. Cottage is on Rt. 15 and near the corner of Rt. 715, entrance to the Gorge. Cottage is quite secluded and the back yard is private. There is traffic on Rt 15 but the cottage sits back and has a grassy front yard. This cabin is very close to Serenity Cottage and Carroll Cabin for larger families or friends who want to be close together. Visit these other cabins on this website as well.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc
Deposit Policy
A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.

Great location and lots of space for your gear. 15 min to Muir valley. The skybridge station is a great place to finish off a day of climbing.

Mulberry Cottage is an adorable house. Everything you would need for a short stay in the area. It was located close to the Red River Gorge. Everything was easy to get to and the scenery was amazing during our mid October visit.

We really enjoyed the space. Close to the Gorge hiking. The cottage is an older dwelling, not modern and immaculate as advertised. Nice amount of dishes in the kitchen. The oven did not work all the time (something with the cleaning lock lever) and the right back burner gets really hot when the oven is running. Seems like a hazard! I saw mice run through the kitchen and living room. We had to wash dishes before use due to mice droppings and urine.
Our family really liked the backyard and fire pit area. Our kiddos loved playing in the backyard. Even though the house sits right along a main road, we had plenty of privacy as no other houses are visible.

Clean, quiet, economical, good cell service and easily assessible. Pine Ridge has 2 gas stations, a coffee/icecream shop and a burger place, so basic services without a lot of traffic. Close to Slade and the Red River Gorge area. The host is responsive and easy to contact.
We had a lovely stay at the Mulberry Cottage. The photos accurately depicted the cozy cottage and beautiful surroundings.
Cute cottage, owner pretty straight forward about few amenities. Very close to Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge. Limited restaurants and stores near by. Very basic accommodations.
