This adorable cottage is within walking distance of Skybridge Station and very close to the Rock Bridge Trail of Red River Gorge. Comes with 2 BR on the first floor, one bathroom with shower, central HVAC, city water, washer/dryer, antenna TV with 20 channels, (does get local stations from Lexington), DVD player, oven, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker. All the comforts of home. Upstairs is a lovely sitting area. Each bedroom has a full size bed. Cottage has delightful covered back porch area with relaxing, tranquil view. Outside is a firepit and charcoal grill.
Sorry, NO PETS and NO SMOKING INDOORS. May bring 2 additional children if want to bring an air mattress for the loft.
No loud parties. Owner lives in area and has made this a stellar property.
The cabin does not offer Wi-Fi.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc
Deposit Policy
A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.

Nice property and location but difficult to find, especially when the host sends you an address that’s in Beattysville which is many miles away. Evidently, Host knows this has been a problem but hasn’t figured out how to correct it yet.
Beware the host expects the guest to travel 25 minutes away to perform check-in procedure which is not disclosed until after booking even tho the house has a lockbox with a key available. After repeatedly asking for a simpler check in option I was informed of the lockbox on premises. However, lockboxes only work with the correct access code. So when the host gives you the wrong code it makes for an even more frustrating experience at 8:00 at night after a 10 hour drive.
Very basic accommodations with 0 and I mean zero condiments in kitchen, no strainer for pasta etc, but don’t worry, I invested in a new salt and pepper set for future guests.
Shower is so small you can’t turn around in it without changing the water temperature accidentally.
Loved the quiet - just far enough away from the crowds at Miguel’s but still close to climbing.
Cottage is simple, clean and comfortable.

This place was adorable! We have stayed in many in cabins in the natural bridge/ red river gorge area and this might be one of our favorites so far! It was super spacious and very clean. The views outside were also gorgeous and very private. It has two bedrooms and we were pleasantly surprised with the two twin beds in the loft. I would highly recommend this place!

beautiful view, great natural lighting in the living room, and super close to Muir Valley if that's your destination. Great amenities for the price, and the house was heated despite the listing saying no heat. they may not have wifi, but your phone signal won't be too bad out there. We all had enough to stream music and some YouTube videos. The kitchen is relatively well stocked, but I'd suggest bringing a knife of your own if you're cutting anything hard.

This is a really cute cabin in a nice location for all the activities in the Red River Gorge. It was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised with the addition of the single beds upstairs! I would definitely recommend Nancy’s place!

This beautiful cottage was more than what we expected. It was very clean, very homey and it was so peaceful while we sat outside by the fire. Price is AMAZING for this stay. 10/10 recommend!
This was a very pretty little cottage. It has a beautiful view. It's off of the road enough for privacy, and it's close to the RRG area. The place was even prettier than the pictures. Although only one person stayed there, there was ample room for more guests. It was decorated pretty. Everything that I used worked well. I would highly recommend this cabin! It was as serene as the name implied.
