S’More Fun in the Gorge

The House is great, house keeping not so great. Bath towels were sour smelling, already used, kitchen sponges to do dishes, (not going to happen with me) dish washer was full and the smell when we opened the door was horrible, the pot holders were all dirty with dried food.
The pillows are literally flat and the mattress was either old or cheaply made.
We ended up buying our own pillows, wash clothes and towels.
We had to bring our own toilet paper, there was a couple rolls in the bathrooms but zero paper towels, we bought our own.
These things do make a difference, and easy to fix for the next family that uses this house.
If that all would have been good, we wouldn’t have any complaints.
When you pick the keys up, you don’t get an address sent to you on the Airbnb site or to your email, it’s a puzzle with a long list of turns, and you’ll see this… turn right etc… that was bazaar. And driving up in the mountains, the last thing you want to do is get lost.

We really loved our stay here! We had 8 adults and were very comfortable with everything we needed. We got in on a last minute deal when the night before travel, our other place had to cancel. The booking was simple and quick and we were so thankful to find such a wonderful, clean cabin! Thank you!

Second time we’ve used this place for our trip! Directions to get there could use some landmarks to be able to know you’re going the right way. Overall great time and memories were made !

We come to hike every year with a group of friends and this by far was the best Cabin we have stayed at! VERY clean and roomy! Extremely well stocked, had everything we needed and more! As a group of 8 we felt this was an amazing place to stay and can’t wait to come back!! Our stay was Perfect!

The cabin was great! Lots of room and very comfortable.

Cabin was great, ton’s of parking. Directions given at check in are helpful but the physical address of the cabin helps as there is a front and back driveway.

Was a very nice cabin! The hot tub and pool table were great features, and had a well-stocked kitchen with pots, pans, etc. It would’ve been nice if paper towels were supplied-we forgot those. Beds weren’t very comfortable but all was clean. Would’ve been easier to find if an address was supplied… the paper instructions made it a little difficult to find on the windy roads. Overall a great experience and would stay again!

The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. I t was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. It was very comfortable and we vry much enjoyed our stay. Only thing we could not find was something to light an outdoor fire with. The only problem was with a wrong address and the master bedroom door was locked when we got there and it got locked again while there. Some bed pillows could be replaced.

TWO YEARS IN A ROW STAYING AT S'MORE FUN CABIN IN CLIFFVIEW RESORT.... WOW THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!

We had 3 families say here for a week for a family reunion. The cabin was great and met our needs. We had space to cook, play games, or go hide from the chaos. We did hiking, rock climbing, the underground boat (meh), and UTV rides, and this cabin acted as our base camp. It's a few miles back in a private area on private roads - a bit hard to find the first time, but we got used to it. The only suggestion I have for the cabin is to include "hotel amenities (like hotel soap)", like other AirBnBs do. Overall, highly recommended!

This is such a great cabin! We had one couple and two families stay here. Plenty of space to feel comfortable. The ample bathrooms, rec space, and views were exceptional. Loved everything about our stay!

We really enjoyed our trip to the area. The house was clean, well stocked, super comfortable for our group.

The house was as described and in like new condition. Also host was responsive. Ha a great stay!

This is our second time staying at this cabin. The kitchen is the best stocked that I have ever experienced! All the space allows for everyone to be comfortable. Had a small leak at the cabin and someone was there within 30 minutes of me sending a text. Maintenance was courteous, deciding that repairing immediately wouldn’t improve our stay but be intrusive so he said it could wait. Really appreciated that! This is definitely our RRG cabin of choice!!

We had so much fun staying here! we were able to fit the whole family under one roof. the kids had a wonderful time, and the hot tub was a huge hit. The directions we got when we picked up the key were pretty complicated, so everyone had a difficult time finding it. you basically just stay to the right until you come to the lodge and then go down the steep hill to the left of the lodge. It's just a short drive to Miguel's pizza, which was convenient. We got married in the woods and had a wonderful place to go afterwards and have a meal together and celebrate. My husband and I stayed in another small cabin 11 minutes away. My mother had recent knee surgery. We were able to pull a car around to the second level entrance so that she didn't have to go up and down any stairs. Be prepared for some very steep and winding hills! we did fine on our 2 wheel drive vehicle though. I could not have asked for a more perfect setting. Oh, and my mom LOVED the message chairs.

Overall it was a great experience ! Very responsive host and was able give proactive information needed.

Would highly recommend !

Really beautiful, spacious cabin. There were six friends, who spent a few days there just to hang out and relax. Only one small complaint, the cabin is a bit tricky to find, especially when you come in after dark! There are written directions, which were somewhat ambiguous. A map would be helpful, with all of the twists and turns.

Our group really enjoyed our stay at S’more Fun. We were three families with toddlers in Red River Gorge for a rock climbing trip. The kitchen was fully stocked (including plenty of coffee filters, FYI!), three bedrooms had en suite bathrooms (the fourth queen room shares bathroom with the bunk room), the mattresses were quite comfortable, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub!
The location is near Muir Valley and other climbing destinations. It takes a while to wind back through the resort/neighborhood to get to the house.
We would definitely return to S’more Fun for future trips and felt it was an excellent value for a lovely, spacious, clean home.

Large cabin with plenty of space for our party of 4 couples. The kitchen is well stocked and has more than enough to allow you to cook at the cabin! Natural bridge skylift was a short drive away and other hikes were a reasonable distance as well. Very quiet neighborhood 🙂

Beautiful, clean, well stocked cabin! We loved that each of our 4 couples had their own bathroom and lot of privacy. The fall colors were beautiful and we enjoyed a lot of time in the hot tub and sitting by the fireplace. This cabin is spacious and the views are beautiful!
The location is great for hiking in the Gorge. Our favorites were the Natural Bridge, Chimney Top trail, and Greys arch.
The only negative for our trip was that there weren’t many restaurants open near by. If you travel during the week in the fall stock up on more groceries and enjoy meals at the cabin.

This cabin it very modern and spacious. My group had a fantastic time. The kitchen is updated and was fully stocked. If you plan to grill, bring charcoal. My only recommendation to anyone is to get to the cabin during daylight as it can be a little tricky getting all the way back to the cabin.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Great for couples with the multiple on-suites bathrooms. Large open living space that kept our group all together. The outdoor screened in porch was a dream! Fully appointed with all you need for a relaxing, quiet, fun weekend. We are ready to book again for S'More fun in Red River Gorge!

Very nice cabin that has a very good sleeping layout for the 10 people in my group. Plenty of parking and the house was very nice. Had a great stay.

The place was as advertised! It's set back a ways in the resort and tough to find the first time. After that, it was easy. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn't working while we were there. They sent a repair man promptly, but it sounds like they needed a new unit. It was no big deal for us though. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the privacy of the cabin and its proximity to some great hiking.

Clean and spacious property located in the heart of RRG - no more than 15-20 min drive to just about anything you'd want to do. Highly recommend this property for the value and amenities it offers.

We felt like we found a really lucky find! The cabin is huge with plenty of space for people to move about, play games, hangout, etc. The cabin had everything we needed and more! We could not believe how spacious it was! Finding it the first time can be a little difficult, but after our first time it was easy!

The cabin was gorgeous and provided games, a pool table, hot tub, bar area, screened in lounge area, and fancy massager chairs that the boys loved! Overall it was a great place to spend some solid family time away from the chaos of life. I would definitely recommend this place!

This cabin was absolutely perfect. We held our annual girls trip here and we couldn’t have found a better cabin! Comfortable, clean, huge, tons of parking. Checkin was so easy, the girls at the front desk were the sweetest! THANK YOU! We will be back!

Great stay!

If there is snow or ice, even with snow plowing four wheel drive vehicles would be recommended. Most of the roadway is paved but the driveway (steeper than average) is gravel.

Beautiful cabin!!! It's a drive back from the road but it made it even more fun to arrive to such a paradise. The screen in porch, fire pit, hotub, access to fishing, and easy drives to trailheads made it even better. Very well built and fun for our families to all stay together but still have enough space.

This was a great house and location for our group of 3 families. It had a perfect layout for us. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.

This cabin is amazing and so beautiful inside and out. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. The cabin is also immaculately furnished and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and appliance you would ever need. This was by far our favorite cabin we have stayed at, and we have stayed at dozens of different ones.

This was a wonderful place to have multiple families gather to celebrate our father’s 80th birthday. He was absolutely thrilled! -LW

Our group had a great time in a nice cabin. The amenities were perfect, enjoyed playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and coffee in the screened in porch. We had a plumbing issue that was resolved in a timely fashion.
