The views from this secluded Kentucky cabin are magnificent. The lake is below on one side with private dock. Tthe woods and cliffview are on the other side. Has hot tub, covered deck, built in fire pit, fiber optic Wi-Fi,, Gas Grill and fireplace.
This brick and stone 4-BD, 3-BA, 3-story house sleeps up to 12. Has 3-BR, with a 4th sleeping area in the Lower Level den with a queen bed. 3-BA. It features a private dock for swimming, fishing laying out, and great for kayaks! Bring your own too if you have them.
Inside, the master BR on the middle floor has one queen bed and access to the Jack and Jill Full bath with Jacuzzi Tub and walk in shower, The upper floor has two private bedrooms that share a full bath with walk in shower. One bedroom has 2 queen beds, the second BR has one queen and 2 twin beds. The Lower level den has a queen bed and is open to the game room with a 6 foot pool table and has a full bath with shower stall and is equipped with a full laundry facility essential for large groups. The main living space is open to the kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has a large wrap around counter with barstool seating and plenty of counter space. It comes with all the modern amenities including New refrigerator, dishwasher, oven/range, fiber optic Wi-Fi, Smart TV, central gas Heat/AC, Jacuzzi tub, stone fireplace, vcr/dvd player, and plenty of plush couch seating to unwind and relax after the days activities!
Outside is a private 6 person hot tub shaded from the rain and snow by the covered porch. The wrap around deck is partially covered and has a gas grill, charcoal grill both under shelter from the elements for no rain out grilling. There are tables and chairs for outdoor dining on the open deck to take in the scenery. The yard is home to a large built in seating fire pit with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.
Access to the cabin makes it a great option for winter visits when snow might be in the forecast and is easy for 2wd vehicles on paved flat roads to a flat gravel road and parking area with a 2nd lower gravel parking area providing plenty of space.
Conveniently located in the Gated community of Deer Water Lake in Cliffview Resort, Wuthering Heights is in close proximity to other Deerwater Lake Cabins in the Scenic Cabin Rentals Family including Kentucky Straight Wilderness, Bake's Burrow, Forestdale, Clifftop Haven, Lakeview Retreat, Fourest Adventures and Lakeside Wonder . Comes with its own private dock. Bring your own canoes or kayaks. Two kayaks are provided but the more the merrier.. Scenic Cabin Rentals offers rental canoe paddles, if needed.
Sorry, NO PETS or indoor smoking allowed at this cabin.
Water activities are at your own risk.
Cabin is on all city utilities for no fuss relaxation.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by the person listed on the reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival date and a $50 cancellation fee is applied. If a reservation is canceled within 3 weeks of arrival, money received will be forfeited unless cabin is re-rented for the same number of nights. You may choose to reschedule your visit one time if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival for small cabin or 21 days if large cabin. Scenic Cabin Rentals is not responsible for inclement weather, illness, someone in your party “backing out”, etc
Deposit Policy
A credit card is required to be on hold in case of damage. Renters paying by credit card may pay the full amount at time of reservation or pay half on card at time of reservation and half 3 weeks prior to trip. Online bookings require full credit card payment upfront. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and checks. Renters wishing to pay by check may do so by submitting check 3 weeks prior to arrival date. We reserve the right to require a credit card to hold the cabin, to cover damages, or to charge for “illegal or non-disclosed” pets or for non-compliance of trash policy. People paying by check without a credit card or using pre-paid credit card may pay the extra $350 upfront and this money will be returned once cabin has been inspected. We do not share any credit information with any customers or third parties, all credit card information is kept private.

Great cabin for group of friends to get away. Plenty of space indoors and out to comfortably relax and enjoy the surroundings. Lake was a beautiful backdrop and nice to walk around. Clean kitchen with all the cooking utensils needed.
A group of eight friends had a great stay for a weekend. The cabin is the last in a row of cabins with beautiful woods and water views. The place was as described, just nothing fancy. The beds were on the firm side, the kitchen had lots of mismatched things but thankfully we brought some things from home. The linens did have a musty smell to them. The bathroom upstairs was basic and old. The hot tub was great. The kitchen table and living room had adequate seating for our group. The host responded to my questions before the trip.
What a great place for our family to stay! We loved the access to the lake, found the place to be spacious and well appointed. Pool table was fun. Sleeping arrangements were ideal for a large family like ours. Spacious deck provided super view of the sunrise and sunset and the stars! Would recommend it for sure.

Overall great stay! Super close to Miguel’s, Muir valley, and 20 minutes from PMRP. Hot tub was nice and hot!

We loved the place! Lots of space and near the lake. The walk to get to the edge to get into the lake is a bit tough but you could drive there. The directions that were provided at the front desk check in were somewhat misleading make sure you ask specifically how to get back to the property. I would definitely stay here again!!

The porch was a great place to have coffee in the morning and the covered section was nice to relax in the shade in the afternoon. We loved swimming in the lake and my kids enjoyed catching bluegills from the dock.

Great place to stay with our large group! We had a blast and would consider going again!
We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. Looked just like the pictures. I wish you could check in at the cabin, rather than the office but it is on the way so it wasn’t super inconvenient. The parking lot at the office is a bit difficult to get in and out of. We arrived almost an hour before check in and we were able to get our key no problem so that was great.
Will be coming back! Great area and beautiful cabin that was very clean. Very relaxing and peaceful.

This is a great home! It is located close to everything yet far enough away to have some privacy. We had a large group and had a wonderful week!
The place was great! Close to hiking and Miguel’s, plenty of space, and a hot tub. Only downside is the beds are comfortable.

A nice house, good for a large family The trail leading to the dock is very steep, would not recommend for the elderly or small children. Once down the trail, the lake was a great spot to relax after a day of hiking.
The Wuthering Heights Chalet was perfect for our family vacation! We were a group of 11, 5 couples and 1 teenager. It was perfect for our needs. Everyone slept comfortably, we never had a line to the bathroom with a full bath on each of the 3 floors, we were able to prepare dinner and eat outside on the deck together, we put the hot tub to use, the fire pit, and the pool table, it was a great weekend made better by a great place to stay!
This place is wonderful. Don't forget supplies/perishables.

This was a great place for our family and our friends to stay. It was clean and in a great location to many good places to hike. It had most of the kitchen items we needed to cook some meals in. The only thing we wish they had was a toaster and baking pans/cookie sheets. Other than that the kitchen was well stocked. The dishwasher didn’t drain but the dishes did look clean and the washing machine did not work quite right as we couldn’t get it to go on a normal or quick wash cycle so washing clothes took a very long time. Communication was good. The amount of space was very nice for 2 families. We all enjoyed the hot tub as well! We would stay here again!

Great location
We had a great time staying at Nancy's cabin during our climbing trip. The location is great for all the south crags. There was plenty of kitchen counterspace, which was helpful in preparing large meals for our group. The hot tub was great, but a little small for such a big cabin, and max allowed guest size. I also want to note, that you are required to bring your own towels, but can request some from the cabin office. There will not be any available at the cabin, besides kitchen towels, and hand towels in the bathrooms. Overall, I would recommend, and choose to stay here again!

We rented this cabin for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! We had a great time hanging at the house as well as hiking some trails at the gorge. The location was beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.
